Based in Birmingham, not a great atmosphere or food....
Had three course meal here, everything was out of a packet or was like one of those prepared dinners from the supermarket, and no one there finished their deserts cause it was that bad.
My potato's were over cooked, and duck was deep fried in some stale oil then some packet sauce was was poured over it that tasted too sweet.
Wouldn't bother with this place in future.

peach garden
Based in china town Birmingham, hygiene is very poor in this place, they keep their vegetables right outside the toilets, and in their toilet they have all kinds of detergents and other personal items, but it doesnt look like they use any of those detergents.
Food has got worse in the year, and i have once found 3 hairs in my food, the ducks use to be known in this place, now its proberly one of the worse. The amount of msg they use in this place! my lips feel like they are peeling while eating, and a bad stomach almost every time.
After giving this place a couple more chance, i will not be going back to this place again.

Marcus Wareing at The Berkley
French Cuisine - London
A fancy Restaurant, with the first feeling when i walked in was worried i was out of place.
A choice of three menus third one being around 160 pounds per person which was a 9 course meal, i went for the 7 course at 90 pounds a head.
Found the food to be very delicate, and most dishes were rare but was expected on a french cuisine.
First time i tasted frios gras also which wasn't bad, but was bit too rare for me.
The service was good, and well mannered people, mostly french waiters. But was slow between dishes, took around 4 hours for the meal, finished off with some great deserts and an esspresso which i must say wasnt great and was £5 for one, most expessive esspresso i ever had so far.
Wouldn't mind coming back aagin in future, think this place isnt for everyone but was a good 3 michelin star place.

Maze Grill
Great food, great service, and the prices are reasonable, compared to a lot of other steak places.
one of my favourite steak places so far.
As you come through the entrance there is also Maze fine dinning sharing the same reservations desk also a great place.
The first time we came here it was a week or two after it had just opened, we sat right by the kitchen and noticed Marcus Wareing was the head chef.
Before you order your food you are shown the types of meat they have for the day, and a how they are fed and prepared.
I usually go for medium rare, and received the steak cooked spot on , great flavour and good selection on the menu, served on a wooden chopping board and garlic fries on the side.
When lucie dropped her napkin they came over to replace her with a new one, not knowing this we assumed it was some kind of wet towel to wipe your hands.
Have already been back to this place twice already.
A simple and stylish place.
